CHANGES TO THE RESERVATION PROCESS
We are using a mail-in lottery system for Summer 2026 reservations.
Please read the guidelines below and submit your request between January 1st and April 1st, 2026 to ensure your request is submitted properly.
Details
- Camping Season: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May 30th to September 28th
- Closures: The Island is closed to the public from August 1st to the 14th. Any reservation requests for these dates will be invalid.
- One Request Per Group: Please submit only one camping request per group. Multiple people from one group submitting a request will not increase your chances in the lottery.
- Be Flexible: Being flexible increases your chances of securing a reservation. If you do not have preferred dates, please indicate your flexibility in your reservation request.
- Preferred Dates: If you require specific dates, please list two preferred weekend days (you may request two separate weekend days or two consecutive weekend days). If your preferred dates are not available and you are willing to be flexible, please indicate this in your request.
How to Submit A Camping Reservation Request
Include your name, email, and phone number so we can contact you to confirm your reservation. Indicate if you are:
- Open to any two dates, either separate or consecutive, or;
- If you have preferred dates, or;
- If you have preferred dates but can be flexible if your preferences are not available.
Any requests for dates that are not a Friday/Saturday/Sunday between May 30th and September 28th, or are during the August closure, will be invalid and will not be entered in the lottery.
